Me, You & Us: Moving Beyond Relational Trauma and Disorder (Anxious/Avoidant Attachment, Codependency, BPD) to Build a Stable, Lasting Relationship
Over the years and throughout multiple marriages, I immersed myself in countless relationship books, diligently taking notes and attempting to apply their teachings. Yet, nothing seemed to work. I needed more than just strategies for navigating typical challenges; I needed a complete overhaul of how I approached relationships.
This book is for those who, like me, have seldom experienced functional relationships and struggle to recognize healthy dynamics. It's for individuals who carry deep interpersonal wounds, often finding themselves in relationships that retrigger past traumas. I wrote this book because I've finally found the kind of relationship I've always yearned for — one filled with understanding, safety, and genuine love.
Drawing from personal experiences, particularly my relationship with my wife Stephanie, I explore how I've transformed my approach to relationships. I highlight the tools and insights that have guided me towards authentic connection, contrasting them with the destructive patterns of my past. Through candid reflections and practical advice, I aim to empower readers to use relationship tools effectively, to build a loving relationship that will last.
